<p>The developers of the SnakeBite911 app have a background in manufacturing CroFab® CrotalidaePolyvalent Immune Fab (Ovine), an antivenin derived from sheep indicated for treating North American crotalid envenomations. The term "crotalid" refers to venomous snakes within the Crotalinae subfamily which encompass rattlesnakes, copperheads, and cottonmouths/water moccasins.</p>

<h3>Important Safety Information:</h3>
<p><em>CONTRAINDICATIONS:</em> CroFab® should not be administered to patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, papaya, or papain unless the benefits clearly outweigh the risks.</p>

<p><em>WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:</em></p>

  <li>CroFab® may cause recurrent coagulopathy in patients treated for snakebites, necessitating careful monitoring and potential retreatment.</li>

<h3>Adverse Reactions:</h3>
<p>The most common adverse reactions reported during clinical studies included urticaria, rash, nausea, pruritus, and back pain. Skin-related adverse events were prevalent among patients, warranting close observation post-treatment.</p>
